April 22, 2010, marked our first TEDxCapital event, “Change the Equation.” Lisa Frank, a Freshman at Georgetown University, boldly stated, “I am the only woman speaking at TEDxCapital today.  If we count videos, 2 out of 9, on par with the  Supreme Court isn’t so bad.”

Ryan Scott from Causecast speaks about engaging youth via technology & mobile activism.  He tells us, “Youth want to donate and wish they had more money to give!”

President and founder, Ed Gragert tells us about iEARN.  Great nonprofit creating a global classroom for students.  he asked students to ask themselves “How is this project going to change the world?”
